Central Mackenzie Delta 2011-2012 Lease Sale results

The Minister of Indian Affairs and Northern Development has announced the results of a lease sale in the Central Mackenzie Valley region of Northwestern Canada. The bidding closed on the 19 June 2012 and both of the parcels available received qualified bids.

The two parcels, Parcel CMV2012-01 and Parcel CMV2012-02, covering approximately 380,920 acres, received bids totalling 92,141,308 in work proposal bids. The leases will carry a term of nine years, consisting of two consecutive periods of five and four years.
