New Argentina dataset

We are pleased to announce the release of our Argentina dataset for PetoView.

The new dataset brings together many months of research and development by our South American and UK teams. It contains detailed information on licence, field, pipeline and well data with an emphasis on the major producing basins, including; Neuquen, San Jorge, Austral and Cuyo.

Moving into Russia

We have expanded our global reach into Russia and the CIS by establishing a presence in Deloitte’s Moscow office.

Yuri Birchenko, a Petroleum Engineer, will spear-head Petroleum Services growth in the CIS by focusing on the development of PetroView and PetroScope for the region.

We are planning to launch PetroView CIS during the second quarter of 2006. However, PetroScope models for Russia and Kazakhstan are available now, with other countries to follow shortly.

PetroView® ArcGIS for version 8.3 and 9.x users

March 2004 saw the release of our latest version of PetroView on the ESRI ArcGIS platform for version 8.3 users. We continued development and in December 2004, the system became available for users of version 9.x. We created the PetroView extension using ArcObjects, the building blocks behind the ArcGIS applications suite.

AAPG Convention, June 2005

We are participating in the America Association of Petroleum Geologists 2005 Annual Convention in Calgary, from 19-22 June.
